Short Selling for the Long Term describes the methods used by Joseph Parnes, President of Technomart, to obtain consistent returns in the stock market. I had the opportunity to read his book, His strategies share investment techniques common with hedge funds; they use short selling and are leveraged vehicles. The big difference is that Mr. Parnes does not seek absolute returns or returns regardless of the performance of the market, but instead are relative performers, seeking to outperform the markets over time.
